Approves the designation of the East Seventh Avenue Historic District-Steele Street Extension as a district for preservation, which includes 19 primary structures on the east side of the 600 and 700 blocks of North Steele Street in Council District 10. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 11-30-21.

Designation of 19 primary structures on the east side of the 600 and 700 blocks of N Steele St as a district for preservation per Chapter 30 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, as recommended by the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission on November 2, 2021, with a vote of 8-0-0. The designation application-East Seventh Avenue Historic District-Steele Street Extension-was submitted by three property owners who reside within the proposed designation boundary. The application is scheduled to go before the Denver Planning Board on November 17, 2021, for a recommendation to City Council on the planning impacts of the designation.
