Amends a lease agreement with the Regents of the University of Colorado by adding $10 for a new total of $15 and 5 years for a new end date of 1-31-2028 to continue using 1650 square feet of Gallery Space 2C at the Denver Performing Arts Complex to feature the Next Stage Collaborative, a showcase of student projects with technology and media, located at 1380 Lawrence Street in Council District 9 (FINAN-201736895-01/ FINAN-202266186-01). REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO - DENVER - NEXT STAGE COLLABORATIVE
This First Amendment to Lease Agreement extends the existing 5 year lease with the University of Colorado Denver at the Denver Performing Arts Complex Galleria area for and additional 5 years.
University of Colorado Denver’s Next Stage Collaborative occupies approximately 1,650 square feet at this location. This exhibit space showcases student projects with technology and media and activates DPAC.
Arts and Venues currently has a limited Booking Agreement with UCD for this use. Given the success of the program, Arts and Venues would like to continue the partnership with an extended lease. This is in line with DPAC goals of transparent activation, youth-based initiatives, an education focus, and the use of new media and technology.
