A bill for an ordinance authorizing expenditures in the General Government Special Revenue Fund based on a letter of intent from the United States Department of Homeland Security to fund the City and County of Denver for the "2022 Securing the Cities" program.
Appropriates 50% of a grant award, or $475,000, through FY2022, based on the Letter of Intent from the United States Department of Homeland Security, for an estimated full award of $950,000 for the Securing the Cities Grant to help protect the City from radiological or nuclear threats, citywide. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-31-22.
