Appropriates $1 million from the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District to fund the drainage and flood control improvements for the Sanderson Gulch - Lipan Street to South Platte River project in Council District 7. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 8-15-17.

The City and County of Denver has signed an amendment to an agreement with the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) to jointly fund drainage and flood control improvements for the Sanderson Gulch - Lipan Street to South Platte River project. Estimated costs for these improvements are approximately $10,000,000. UDFCD previously contributed $800,000 towards this project. This ordinance request seeks to appropriate UDFCD's additional $1,000,000 contribution into org 5061102, fund 72701, project PH725 for use towards the project.
