Amends the Denver Zoning Code by adding a requirement for mailed notice to be delivered to property owners within a 200-foot radius of a property to be rezoned at the time the application is received and at least 15 days before the Planning Board public hearing on the rezoning. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-8-18.

In keeping with the CPD goals of transparency and outreach, the proposed Mailed Rezoning Notice Text Amendment #1 adds a requirement for mailed notice to be sent to property owners within a 200-foot radius of a property to be rezoned. Currently, when CPD receives a complete rezoning application, staff send notification to the following parties, first at the time the application is received and again ahead of the Planning Board public hearing on the rezoning:
