A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the State of Colorado, relating to the "56th Avenue / Pena Improvements" project and the funding therefor.
Approves a grant agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for $3,832,000 in federal funds to fund operational improvements to 56th Avenue including lane-balancing, additional turn-lane provisions, transitions to existing lane configurations, and other improvements located near 56th Avenue and Pe?a Boulevard in Council District 11 (201735914). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 9-18-17. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 8-15-17.
