Type and Scope of services to be performed: Since Colorado was awarded a $6.2 million "Ready to Work Partnership" grant from the U.S. Department of Labor in October 2014, the Denver Office of Economic Development has served as the grant administrator for this regional, joint project. The grant benefits long-term unemployed and underemployed people in the technology and advanced manufacturing sectors on the Front Range and Western Slope in Colorado using collaborations between employers, educational institutions and job training programs.
