A bill for an ordinance relating to the Denver Zoning Code and Denver Revised Municipal Code, replacing the current GDP process with a suite of plan implementation tools.
Approves text amendment #4 to the Denver Zoning Code and the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) to revise the General Development Plan process and standards. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-21-19.

The proposed text amendment revises the General Development Plan (GDP) process and standards through multiple changes. First,
the GDP process in DZC Section 12.4.12 is replaced with the Large Development Review (LDR) process and the Infrastructure
Master Plan (IMP) process that is currently being used is codified as a new DZC Section 12.4.14. The text amendment carries forward
the GDP open space requirements as generally applicable design standards in DZC Division 10.8. The text amendment also makes
targeted changes to Denver Revised Municipal Code (D.R.M.C) Section 59-2 to allow for GDPs approved under former Chapter 59 to
