Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.
Through the community led efforts of Ms. Lorraine Granado, she was able to turn a devasting toxic spill in to a community amenity in a neighborhood that is historically underserved with open space. Her work to obtain a grant allowed for land acquisition. Additional funding was donated by Ms. Granado for materials and playground equipment. She was integral in engaging community in the design process of the park.
