Appropriates $85,000 in the Ryan White Needs Assessment IGA Special Revenue Fund to accommodate an increase in the City’s contract with the State. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 6-8-21.

The City and County of Denver has an agreement with the State (202158893) to deliver a statewide needs assessment of clients and providers of Ryan White Part B HIV/AIDS Program services in Colorado, including the Ryan White Part A HIV/AIDS Program services in the Denver Transitional Grant Area. Ordinance No. 1181, Series of 2020, created a Special Revenue Fund, the Ryan White Needs Assessment IGA SRF, to administer the contract. This fund was created as an appropriated fund to authorize spending prior to receiving reimbursements from the State for work covered in the IGA. The Ordinance also appropriated $125,000, the value of the initial agreement. The agreement with the State is now being amended by adding $85k in City spending to be reimbursed by the State to provide more funding for services in the original contract over an extended period of time. This ordinance appropriates the additional $85k to provide those services.
