A resolution approving a proposed Third Amendment to Emergency Occupancy Agreement between the City and County of Denver and JBK Hotels, LLC to provide temporary housing for individuals experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 health crisis.
Amends an occupancy agreement with JBK Hotels, LLC, doing business as Aloft, by adding $1,223,600 for a new total of $7,189,400 and three months for a new end date of 9-30-21 to provide 140 rooms to people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 crisis, in Council District 9 (FINAN-202159069-03). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 7-19-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 6-15-21.

The original Emergency Occupancy Agreement (FINAN-202054515-00) provides 140 rooms for HOST to housing people experiencing homelessness during the COVID 19 crisis and expired August 31, 2020. The first amendment (FINAN-202055637-01) extended the term of the original agreement through December 31, 2020. The second amendment (FINAN-202057157-02) extended the contract through the end of June 2021. The proposed amendment would extend the term through the end of September 2021 (FINAN-202159069-03).
