This bill request establishes the "Transportation and Mobility" Special Revenue Fund, number 11882, in the General Government Special Revenue Fund Series.

This fund will provide dedicated support for transportation and mobility projects related to bicycles, sidewalks, safety, and transit improvements. The revenue to the fund includes appropriated General Fund transfers, which are made possible by an increase in parking meter rates in 2022 from $1 to $2 per hour. The 2022 budget includes a $9.5 million General Fund transfer to this fund.
