During 2020, the City entered into supplemental negotiations with the U.S. Department of Justice under Project Civic Access (PCA) to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Negotiations were occurring during the development of the 2021 budget; and in an effort to be proactive, the City appropriated budget for ADA improvements based on the draft list of contemplated facilities.
In January 2021, a four-year supplemental agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ) was executed to address ADA improvements in 18 additional facilities not included in the original agreement. The final list of facilities included City administrative and human services f...
