As required by the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS), this request seeks City Council approval to extend the disaster declaration issued by Mayor Michael B. Hancock on January 4, 2023 and currently running through January 11, 2023 for an additional period through February 27, 2023. This declaration replaces a rescinded declaration that was first issued on March 12, 2020 and focuses on the broadened emergency conditions stemming from the compounding effects of COVID, RSV and influenza.
