Type and Scope of services to be performed:
International Facilities Management Association (IFMA FOUNDATION) is a non-profit that, in collaboration with Goodwill of Colorado, provides a paid Sustainability Facility Management Pre-Apprentice training that leads participants towards registered apprenticeship/employment opportunities with major employers in the IFMA Denver Chapter.
The original RFP and contract were under $500K however, due to initial success of the program in year 1 and a revamped recruitment strategy to work directly with Denver employers to upskill incumbent and transitioning workers, additional budget is needed to add a fourth cohort in year 3 of the project and provide a livable wage to trainees (proposed increase from $15/hr to $20/hr). The amendment adds $194,593 to this contract to train 29 additional individuals at an increased stipend of $20/hour, add an apprenticeship coach to eliminate barriers to completion, and pay for additional staff and program expense resulting from increasing participation.
